Hi Becky, I was telling one of my consultants about you yesterday so I wanted to visit your website and read about what you are doing now. How far this outreach has come from one woman’s trust. I will be faithfully thinking of you. I am very glad you are not in jail, LOL!!! I am sure it was NOT funny going through it but I loved your humor telling about it in your blog.

I really appreciate your courage to work in Ethiopia particularly on the area where there are socially, culturally, and economically challenged women.
Our school is very much happy to work with such a concerned and diligent parent. We wish heartily blessing for the one who gave us her precious time to share a life long skill which is developed in every direction of life to our lovely students who are expecting us more.

Hi Becky
My wife and I met you briefly in Addis in 2007 at Trish’s place the night before she was off to Spain. Since that time I/we regularly check on what is happening with your awesome „Trampled Rose“. We pass on to friends and acquaintances contacts to your website/videos etc. Though our own efforts and funds are entirely focused on western Kenya at an orphanage „Dago Dala Hera“, we care for your project very much. We very much believe (as our Canadian Stephen Lewis says) that Africas future to a very large extent depends on the emancipation of its women folk. My wife Lorna, presently is in Kenya with two nieces, both 13 years of age. In short, it is proving to be a life changing experience for these girls. My particular reason for writing you at this time has to do with the recent Ethiopian government moves to restrict the social/political operating perimeters of NGOs. Considering the nature of your efforts in Ethiopia, how or if you are affected by this concerns me.(?) And is there any specific thing that we abroad can do in support of „Trampled Rose’in this regard? All the best and a Happy New Year Paul Janz
