It’s always hard to know where to start when it has been awhile since I have been able to write . I have less than ten days until I return home (stopping in France first to see Stephane and Cristina). It seems like the time flew in one way and that it has been years since I’ve been home in the other.

I had an exciting dinner Friday night. I was invited by the new French Ambassador to meet with Mrs. Rama Yade, the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Human Rights of France. She seemed so truly interested in learning about Ethiopian issues. However, when she asked me my opinion about Fistula and the micro consequences, I had to say that I really am focused on helping our women and I only know a small piece of this large puzzle. I remembered that my ignorance would really show if I spoke about something I don’t know. So… it was interesting to listen to others who may have not learned that lesson and those who truly did know bunches.

How sick is this? I’m having night dreams about shopping at Target. It’s full of perfect sizes of pink picture frames and I try to buy them all.
