My day has been very efficient. First I spent some time in the bank arguing that my name is Rebekah Rae Kiser and that I should be allowed to collect the money sent to Rebekah Kiser. It wasn’t easy to prove that I am one and the same. Next, I talked again to the bank manager about opening a new account that is a necessary part of our agreement with Spain. I have only been asking every day for one month but he still needs two more days to make this decision. So just in case you are wondering what I do with my days……

I’ve spent the day in frustration. I finally got tickets for a flight for a group that is coming to volunteer. It took nine tries over two weeks. In the line today I was number 77 and they were on number 18.

It’s been cold and rainy here but lots of fun with my daughter, Melanie. We got to spend two plus hours in the local Beauty Salon with our hair in little curlers under a dryer. We both came out looking like Shirley Temple.

The good news first! We have been approved to continue our work here by the Ministry of Justice for three more years. It’s a difficult process with a lot of red tape that only took us about four months. Not bad.
