October 10th

I just conducted an entire business meeting in Amharic!! We analyzed profit and expense and divided our daily portions! I guess that goes to show what you can do when you’re forced.

The ladies had 108 customers at the restaurant. I’ve got lots of pictures. They were organized and efficient and served them all in no time. Now they did pass the water glasses from one to another without washing. Ick!

The customers were all construction workers who work long days for less than one dollar per day. The heart breaking part was that many of them could not have been much older than 12. How fun to see our ladies learning business and seeing these workers enjoy a nice lunch.

The weather here is beautiful! And I’m most excited because I found some cleaning supplies that almost smell like Pine Sol.
