Whew! My days have been busy doing thing that I really do enjoy. Setting employee policy, balancing budgets, projecting for the future, etc.

Today I got a special treat! I went to visit another NGO with Cristina Gompertz. They are doing great work teaching high school below graduates how to do wood working. The Ambassadors Spouses Group here had approved a very nice sum to help us here so I ordered desks and tables from them so we can keep the good moving.

Then Cristina, who used to work for Hermes, took me shopping at a leather shop. I found (are you ready) a RED patent leather purse. Owwwww! My style for sure!

We spent lunch with her husband Stephan at the French Embassy out on the veranda overlooking the rose gardens. It was truly a “Martha Stewart” moment.

Now I am finishing my afternoon writing project proposals. It’s worth it! Can you believe your help has made a new life for almost 500 women in Ethiopia?

tomorrow I am going to a women’s prison to bring supplies and love. What better thing could I do with a day off:)
