July 20, Thursday:

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been home more than ten days! It still is amazing to me that I can just put my dishes in a machine and they come out cleaner than what I can wash or that I can get a drink of water straight from the faucet.

My life always feels torn between two places I love. In my weekly report from The Trampled Rose I heard that we have helped 158 women since February 7. We opened three new houses for the women who cannot be cured. Thank you to KLM Airlines who donated all our furnishings. For each of these women what we are doing has changed their lives forever. What more could we want!
